Job DescriptionPerform inspections and mechanical adjustments, diagnose, repairs and parts replacements for company fleet vehicles and heavy equipmentKey Responsibilities
Diagnose services through proficient use of electronic testing equipment
Perform minor repairs (i.e. electrical components, power windows, power, mirrors, door locks, etc.)
Perform routine vehicle maintenance on company vehicles, fleet trucks ( i.e. mechanical work on brakes, fuel pumps, alternators, air conditioning, oil changes, tire balancing and rotation, replacing batteries, etc.)
Ensure repair orders are completed accurately including use of current parts and manufacturer updates and changes of vehicle requirements
Perform other duties as assigned b manager or supervisor
Overtime (more than 40 hours per week) may be required at times as business needs dictate
Education & Special Knowledge
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid Driver's license and safe driving record required
CDL license with air brake certification is a plus but not required
