ResponsibilitiesOur Data IT Strategy consultants help our clients improve business value through optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of their IT capabilities. This high performing group plays a critical role in multi-disciplinary strategy teams. We enable our clients to understand, plan for, and realize strategic opportunities presented by information technology through a collection of capabilities such as Enterprise IT Management, Mission Enablement, and IT Transformation. QualificationsSkills Requirements:- At least 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum degree required: Bachelor's degree.
- Hands-on experience with the following areas:
- Conducting enterprise data current state assessment
- Assessing an organization's existing data capabilities and technologies used to support the data lifecycle
- Defining a data strategy
- Defining a strategic roadmap to execute the data strategy
- Defining, implementing, and operating data operating models, which can include data governance bodies
- Elicit requirements and use cases for stakeholders
- Translating business needs into long-term architecture solutions, and creating future-state blueprints illustrating the desired future-state capabilities
- Experience with project and program management best practices.
- Proven ability to interact with client stakeholders including conducting interviews, facilitating working sessions, or leading status meetings.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, especially proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- US Citizenship and able to obtain an active Public Trust
- Master's degree in a related field
- Past experience with enterprise data maturity assessment working with US Federal Government
- Relevant certifications demonstrating aptitude in data management
- Past consulting experience
