Business Manager - Wallops Job Code:2024:0101-068 Location:Wallops Island, VA FT/PT Status:Full Time Business Sector:Facilities Management and Operations Job Description TRAX International is preparing for expansion of work at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) located on Wallops Island, Virginia, and is seeking candidates with technical and/or range operations experience. To help prepare TRAX for a smooth contract phase in and for longer term positions Managers for this critical mission during contract execution are contingent upon contract award.TRAX is a large business that performs prime contractor services today for NASA at Goddard Space Flight Facility, MD, Wallops Flight Facility, VA and the US Army at Yuma Proving Ground, AZ; Fort Greely, AK; and in the Republic of Panama. All permanent positions upon award are full-time and have generous health care, 401(k) and vacation benefits. Salaries are negotiable based on specific experience and proven performance. The Business Manager performs and controls financial aspects of assigned contract.Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for preparation of reports relative to contract requirements in detail adequate to ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Participates as primary contractor working level interface with counterparts for all budget, contract administration and accounting related issues. Responsible to the Program Manager for overall administration of the financial aspects of the contract. Establishes and documents all contract-related policies and procedures reflecting operational responsibilities. Serves as primary point of contact for external audit agencies. Directs implementation of corporate and contract personnel policies. Enters A/P in Costpoint which involves voucher creation and system entry. Reconciles the monthly corporate credit card statements. Prepares the monthly Cost Report and serves as primary point of contact with Government for any associated questions. Process bi-weekly cost voucher and billing in Costpoint and submit to Government financial system. Review, approve and log new Purchase Requisitions. Process the weekly AMMS AJE or similar required reports into Costpoint. Audit weekly payroll reports for labor processing. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or another related field is required. 10+ years’ experience of progressively responsible experience in program control, finance, and business data processing. Experience in government contract administration and knowledge of the FAR preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly developed analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a top priority. Must share a commitment to maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment while simultaneously optimizing individual performance and contribution. Advanced skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications. Physical Qualifications

The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment and sometimes in the field where you are subject to the environment. Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time. Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time. Must be capable of lifting 25 lbs. unassisted. Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the duties and responsibilities.

Terms of Employment & Eligibility Requirements

Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to successfully complete a background check. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests, if contract required. Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance or contract designated clearance prior to employment and maintain said clearance for the duration of employment.
