Title: IT Deployment Technician Location: VA Beach, VA - Little Creek Schedule: Must be open to working 1st and 2nd Shift (No Overnights)
Requirements - Active, DoD issued Secret Security Clearance
- CompTIA Security+CE
- Willing to Work 1st and 2nd Shift
- 2+ years of IT experience in networking, systems troubleshooting, software, and hardware support.
Responsibilities: Deploy new computers to replace old out of warranty machines. Will cover the region around Groton, CT in support of our large government client. When not deploying seats you assist with Field Service (Desktop Support) responsibilities in the region. - Provide network technical advice and assistance during the planning phase of a deployment
- Provide direct computer and network support to include router, firewall, Intrusion Detection Systems/Intrusion Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Domain Name System (DNS), Active Directory (AD) and Exchange, configuration, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting to USMC deployed units.
