Position: Business Development Capture Manager Location: REMOTE Job Status: Full Time Rigid Tactical is seeking a Business Development Capture Manager with a Secret clearance to support our BD strategy. The Capture Manager will work in partnership with the operational team to qualify and capture new business opportunities. The ideal candidate brings existing customer and business relationships in the DOD and SOCOM markets. This role will focus on building customer intimacy and identifying customer service gaps. This individual will be held accountable for qualification and capture of new and/or emerging business development opportunities. This position reports directly to Business Development lead for cross-company collaboration, pipeline reporting, and synergy in meeting strategic business goals.
Manage capture efforts in various stages for award
Maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline for the assigned organization.
Develop the opportunity through diligent and timely influencing of customers and by leveraging current technologies, customer intimacies, and inter-company collaboration.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to identify customer objectives, priorities, and requirements and align company capabilities.
Develop and maintain strong industry relations with large and small businesses with significant presence in assigned markets.
Conducts competitive analysis.
Develop effective win strategies.
Develop an effective Capture Plan with adequate fidelity for transition to Proposal Manager.
Typically will provide critical input during proposal efforts.
Understands the Shipley methodology of the business development process.
·Qualifications:
Capture Management experience desired (4-5 years)
Bachelor's degree and demonstrated progress experience in business development or related operations.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple capture activities concurrently (mandatory).
Current and in-depth knowledge of the Special Operations Forces landscape.
Current and in depth knowledge of the Intelligence disciplines in supporting SOF
Proven ability to establish and use important customer relationships with senior-level officials and program stakeholders
Proven ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries
Knowledge of Government contracting and current acquisition trends and customer buying behaviors
Knowledge of competitors and ability to model competitor behavior in the market
Proven experience working with geographically dispersed teams
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active secret clearance or eligible for one
