SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst/Engineer to join our team to perform cybersecurity services across DoD systems' life cycle.
Responsibilities:- Develop/review/maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation artifact documentation to include Risk Assessment Report (RAR), Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) Strategy, Security Authorization Package, engineering documentation, network drawings, and related documentation as required by DoD accreditation standards
- Perform vulnerability analysis of DoD systems and identify, report, and resolve security violations
- Ensure that all information systems are functional and secure; recommend information assurance/security solutions and controls to support requirements to include developing waiver packages for end-of-life software
- Provide technical planning and systems engineering to ensure Information Assurance compliance and secure cyber posture with respect to availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation
- 5+ years of experience
- Minimum IAT Level II or IAM Level II
- In depth understanding of computer security, military system specifications, and DoD Information Assurance policies
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations
- Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
- Experience with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), and other DoD cybersecurity tools
