This platform supports millions of users seeking timely, accurate, and accessible content across a range of essential topics.In this role, you will define the product vision, manage the roadmap, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance user experience, ensure compliance with federal digital standards, and meet mission-driven objectives.Key Responsibilities:
Own the product roadmap and vision, driving improvements in user experience, content accessibility (Section 508), and site performance.
Work closely with UX/UI designers, content strategists, developers, and government stakeholders to deliver a user-centered digital product.
Conduct user research and analyze data to inform prioritization, feature development, and platform enhancements.
Translate complex policy or business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Ensure compliance with federal standards, including the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS),Digital.govguidelines, and relevant privacy and security policies.
Monitor site KPIs (e.g., task success rates, load times, user satisfaction) and lead iterative improvements based on findings.
Advocate for end-user needs and champion a culture of continuous improvement and accessibility.
Qualifications:
4–7+ years of experience as a Product Manager or related role in digital services, preferably in the public sector or government contracting space.
Proven success managing digital products at scale with a strong user base and complex stakeholder environment.
Familiarity with federal digital services frameworks, accessibility standards (Section 508), and open data initiatives.
Strong understanding of user-centered design, web analytics, and agile development methodologies.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, and Google Analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) and federal website modernization efforts.
Background in civic tech, content strategy, or human-centered design.
Experience supporting multilingual content platforms or localization initiatives.
Knowledge of government digital service playbooks (e.g., TTS, 18F, USDS).
