As a User Experience Content Designer, you will author and edit content to guide our members through their personal financial journey. You will collaborate with UX Strategists, Designers, and Researchers to to define an overall content strategy for the authenticated member experience. You will define content strategies for initiatives, author content, own and refine a content style guide, and participate in design activities across the team.
Author written content for the online banking experience.
Create a content guide to define the tone and style.
Collaborate with other writers within the organization.
Extend the existing brand voice standards to include the servicing and acquisition experiences.
Create and maintain a content library with snippets of common phrases (i.e. error messages), and general guidance for the design team to consume.
Lead content reviews with stakeholders and collaborate with legal, risk, compliance, and other internal groups to ensure alignment.
Independently manage intake, scheduling, and team communications for all of your content work.
Participate in design reviews and ideation sessions to create and refine UI concepts.
Support user testing and prototyping efforts by quickly iterating on content and editing research questions for clarity.
Support the team in creating polished, high-visibility presentations as needed.
Continuously understand, research, and share design, experience, content, and market trends that should be considered and incorporated into the PenFed digital experience strategy.
Education and ExperienceEquivalent combination of education and experience is considered. Bachelor’s degree in English, Creative Writing, journalism, content design, or a related field 3 years of experience in writing content for digital experiences, preferably with a financial institution or fintech A work sample Experience working in either an agency or enterprise setting Familiarity with user experience design Solution-oriented approach and positive attitude Ability to understand the big picture, take ownership, and tackle problems wherever they arise Ability to maturely discuss design and writing and communicate rationale; comfort giving and receiving feedback in reviews Enthusiasm for establishing a design thinking culture in one of the nation’s largest credit unionsAbout TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
