Responsibilities:
Transport patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey.
Follow a set schedule to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
Assist patients with entering and exiting the vehicle, including helping with mobility aids (wheelchairs, walkers, etc.) when necessary.
Maintain a clean and safe vehicle, conducting regular checks and routine maintenance.
Verify patient information and appointment details prior to departure.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation.
Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, respectful, and professional at all times.
Ensure accurate completion of trip logs and required documentation.
Report any accidents, incidents, or concerns to management immediately.
Requirements:
Must pass background check and MVR.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Previous driving experience, preferably with NEMT, delivery, or passenger transport.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to follow routes, schedules, and instructions efficiently.
A compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor.
Must pass background check and drug screening.
CPR/First Aid certification (preferred, but not required trianing will be provided).
