Review the position below and apply today.At this time, Dominion Energy cannot transfer or sponsor a work visa or employment authorization for this position.Job SummarySurry Power Station located near Surry, Virginia is looking for an Electrical Engineering intern to work in its Subsequent License Renewal Engineering department the summer of 2025. Job duties will include but not limited to Supporting development of Engineering Change Package and Procurement Specification documents including field walkdowns, interfacing with the plant Maintenance and Operations staff, and working with vendors. Supporting development of project cost plans, risk mitigation strategies and schedules. Support the preparation/review of engineering studies to evaluate recommended equipment/system replacements in order to provide technically sound engineering solutions. Support the preparation and revision of specifications for the procurement of new or replacement electrical, I& C, Digital and/or Computer equipment and interface with vendors to resolve technical matters.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & ExperienceMust have strong verbal and written communications skills Must possess an understanding of basic computer principles and practices Possess basic analytical and conceptual thinking Ability to evaluate problems and make sound decisions Basic knowledge of Cyber Security is preferredMust have strong verbal and written communications skillsMust possess an understanding of basic computer principles and practicesPossess basic analytical and conceptual thinkingAbility to evaluate problems and make sound decisionsBasic knowledge of Cyber Security is preferredEducation Requirements

Must be a rising sophomore or junior student studying Electrical Engineering at an ABET accredited 4-year college or university with graduation no sooner than December 2026.
