Yes· Identifies, designs, and implements process improvements for the virtualization of and distribution of applications: automating manual processes, optimizing delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability Yes· Designs, implements, and maintains VMWare vSphere virtualization infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and vSAN. Yes· Analyze user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications Yes· Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations· Develops system architecture and system design documentation· Interacts with the Government regarding technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts· Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibilityWhat you’ll need:· Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI poly· DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification:  Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security.· Education:  Bachelor of Science Degree, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.· 10 years’ of related experience (if we are sourcing for a Virtualization Engineer Level 3)· Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM· Proficiency in configuring and optimizing virtual machines, storage, and networking· Knowledge with configuration of virtual switches and VLANs· VMware Certified Professional certification (required or not?) This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
