Description/Comment: Client is a technology and innovation leader specializing in defense, homeland security and other government markets throughout the world. With a history of innovation spanning 90+ years, the company provides state-of-the-art electronics, mission systems integration and other capabilities in the areas of sensing; effects; and command, control, communications and intelligence systems, as well as cyber security and a broad range of mission support services.

Software Engineers are needed on multiple mission-critical classified programs. Experience all aspects of a software development life-cycle as a member of a fast-paced agile team. This includes software design, implementation, and test under the direction of a more senior-level engineer, supporting customer demonstrations, and developing and executing automated software tests.

What we are looking for:The ideal candidate for this position would be a well-rounded developer with hands-on experience as a DevSecOps Engineer and cloud experience using AWS. The candidate must have proven leadership experience. The candidate must be able to adapt quickly to changing needs and technologies.

Security Clearance Requirements:Current TS/SCI clearance.

Required Experience:Experience with a CI/CD tool suite, including the following preferred tools: BitBucket Git Jenkins AnsibleExperience with software engineering tool administrationExperience with AWSSQS/SNSS3EC2ECSDynamoDBRDSStrong automation background with the ability to troubleshoot complex problemsExperience with scripting and test automationJava development experience

Other requirements:US CitizenWork location onsite at Client facility Dulles campus in Sterling, VA (preferred)State College, PA

Desired Experience:Security + or equivalent DoD IA Level II certificationFamiliar/experienced in applying Agile methodology for managing work in progressWorks in a small, geographically distributed team

Preferred Education:8 years of relevant experience with a BS degree (typically STEM focused - Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics,); or 6 years of relevant experience with a MS degree (typically STEM focused - Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics,)
