We are responsible for identifying best-in-class solutions that meet business requirements and optimizing end-to-end processes. We consider ourselves Change Leaders in the organization. And we partner with Biomedical Information Technology and the Business stakeholders for the coordination of systems release management and delivery planning, including requirement tracking, design, development, configuration, informal and some function testing, and implementation for many FDA regulated systems. The team is looking for a Business Systems Analyst/ Business Application Liaison to join BSI.As a Business Systems Analyst, you will serve as a subject matter expert for Biomedical business application(s) and liaison with Information Technology and/or vendor(s) to ensure that technology designs meet the needs of end users within an assigned unit.The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States with a preference to work East Coast hours.Position requires release management and on call activities some nights and weekends. And must be able to be operate successfully and efficiently in a fully remote setting.WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities): Meet with Business stakeholders to identify and analyze problems or enhancement requests. Develop functional and interface requirements and specifications for Biomedical IT and third-party vendors. Create and manage configurations for applications. Work with third-party vendors to have SaaS products configured as required. Conduct configuration verification testing activities. Serve as a lead on projects, provide training and guidance to other staff. Understand and follow all regulated processes and procedures.Scope: Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Apply subject matter knowledge. Capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. The American Red Cross does not sponsor employment visas.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (required/minimum qualifications): Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field required. Experience: Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Experience with large-scale ERP applications required. Ability to manage to deadlines. Strong verbal and written communications skills required.WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (preferred qualifications): Experience with blood manufacturing or donor management systems preferred.

Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

+PAY INFORMATION:The starting annual salary range for this position is $100K - $115K. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role.Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
