Senior Test Engineer (DT/OT)

Contingent upon contract award.The Senior Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing highly complex test programs and systems to assess the functionality and integrity of products and services for Marine Corps Systems Command. This role involves leading the creation of test stations, writing advanced test procedures, and evaluating product performance.The contractor will be required to perform the following tasks:

Provide comprehensive support for DT and OT, including methodology development, test planning, and coordination.

Coordinate test sites, prepare sites, and implement security/access measures.

Analyze, develop, and maintain test schedules.

Oversee and participate in test review boards.

Develop and modify the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and other DT documents, ensuring technical accuracy and proper grammar.

Create and maintain a system-level test plan, linking system requirements to user needs.

Verify the accuracy of system-level requirements, including analyzing and evaluating DT and OT results.

Maintain system evaluation information within the DOORS database system.

Assist in preparing and conducting Government-led DT and OT Readiness Reviews, technical meetings, and planning conferences.

Create a T&E database, metrics, and informational briefs to support T&E progress and decision-making.

Manage test site data and prepare for Failure Definition and Scoring Conferences during all T&E phases.

Skills and Qualifications:

Extensive experience in test engineering, specifically in developmental and operational testing.

Proven ability to design complex test programs and systems.

Strong analytical skills for evaluating product performance and integrity.

Proficient in developing test plans, methodologies, and schedules.

Excellent communication skills for coordinating with teams and presenting findings.

Familiarity with the DOORS database system and T&E databases.

Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with other engineering groups.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship required.

Security clearance required.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. An advanced degree is preferred. 15 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
