Operations Manager

Contingent upon contract award.The contractor will be required to perform the following tasks:

Assist the Project Manager (PM)/Deputy Project Manager (DPM) in overseeing daily operations, ensuring effective management and operational efficiency.

Attend weekly program meetings.

Coordinate facility resources as needed.

Support in briefing preparations.

Take detailed notes and record action items during meetings.

Manage action items within the Action Tracking Database.

Regularly update the status of action items on SharePoint and/or MS Teams site.

Produce metrics, graphs, and spreadsheets related to program action items.

Analyze data for trend identification and process improvements.

Present findings in the Contractor’s Progress, Status, and Management Report.

Organize and maintain .electronic program documents/files for easy access by appropriate teams.

Review and process travel request forms in the Defense Travel System (DTS).

Ensure compliance with DTS requirements, serving as a backup to the Administrative Officer.

Utilize Department of Navy (DoN) Enterprise Task Management Solution System (ETMS2) for both NIPR and SIPR access.

Review external tasks assigned to Program Office.

Recommend and implement internal routing for each task.

Coordinate, track, and consolidate responses for PM’s final review and approval.

Enter approved responses into ETMS2 for task completion and closure.

Periodically report on task trends and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred. 15 Years experience in lieu of degree.

Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role, preferably in a government or military setting.

Familiarity with defense travel systems and task management software (DTS, ETMS2).

Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong proficiency in data analysis and report generation.

Security clearance required.

Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
