Actalent is hiring a Lab Technician in South Chesterfield, Virginia.Job Description:
Process various types of samples and maintain related quality assurance documentation
Processing samples and maintain quality assurance documentation in both Chemistry and Microbiology lab
Report and verify results for all types of lab tests
Participate in the operations of all areas of the lab, including but not limited to quality management systems tasks
Notify management if departure from normal procedure is identified
Skills:food safety, food manufacturing, packaging, Quality assurance, Quality controlAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
Must have High School Diploma
At least 1 year of laboratory experience in food industry
Ability to work in temperature conditions beetween 35 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as documentation is a large part of the role
Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present in a professional demeanor and work independently and on a team
