Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair defective equipment and maintain electrical control systems associated with industrial machinery. The ideal candidate will assist fellow maintenance personnel and contract integrators/engineers in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment, as well as install, program, and maintain AC and DC drives and motors. You will also troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controls using maintenance software with a laptop computer.Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical control systems associated with industrial machinery
Assist fellow maintenance personnel and contract integrators/engineers in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment
Install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain AC and DC drives
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain AC and DC motors
Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controls via maintenance software with a laptop computer
Essential Skills
Ability to troubleshoot 3 phase motors
Experience with electronics, including replacing motor/gearboxes (up to 480V)
Proficiency in troubleshooting and calibrating photoeyes and sensors
Preventative maintenance experience
Knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferably from the printing industry with experience with highly automated equipment
Self-starter with the ability to work individually
