We are looking for an experienced maintenance person to complete and supervise work at several apartment complexes in the Roanoke area. This is a full-time position with a local property management company.
We can offer $25 - $30 / hour depending on experience plus benefits (Dental, Disability, Health Insurance, PTO). Opportunity for advancement with increased pay, responsibilities, and oversite of other maintenance people.
Responsibilities include: responding to tenant's maintenance requests, apartment turnover and renovations (e.g. appliance installation, cabinet repairs, light fixture installation, etc), performing preventative maintenance, and overseeing contracted labor (e.g. painters, flooring installation, landscapers).
Qualifications: Previous experience with renovating apartments or single-family homes or other general construction experience. Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing diagnostics and repairs.
HVAC certification preferred (CFC Universal).
