Test Lab Technician/Scientist
Local company specializing in air pollution control equipment troubleshooting, testing and training has an immediate opening for a part time Lab Technician (non-medical).
Position Duties: Perform physical testing of materials used air pollution control equipment, Quality Assurance testing of new materials use in product manufacturing, may include site inspections of vendor and manufacturing plants, data analysis and report writing. Expected to maintain a professional appearance of self, equipment and work areas. Must work well with customers and other team members. May also include field work as pertains to troubleshooting, maintenance, testing, install, dismantling, or any other work on air pollution control equipment. Must be able to work at heights and in tight spaces. Some travel may be required.
Qualifications: Two or four year college degree in a technical course of study (preferred), otherwise an occupational significant combination of education and test experience is a plus. Mechanically inclined and detail oriented required. Computer knowledge must include but not limited to MS Office.
