Virginia Gators a 501(C)3 non profit organization is looking for a responsible mature individual to manage our two facilities. The Gator Aquatic Center is open year around and located right next to Virginia Western Community College. Fallon Park Pool sits in Fallon Park on Dale Avenue SE. Fallon Park Pool is only open from mid May through August each summer.
The person we are looking for would have the ability to keep the facilities in A+ shape along with managing the lifeguards and maintenance staff. We would be willing to pay to have the person certified as a CPO (Certified Pool Operator). We expect the maintenance and management of the Gator Aquatic Center to be approximately a 20 hour/week position with additional hours required during the summer months while we staff and operate Fallon Park Pool.
The applicant would be in charge of the following.
1. Cleanliness of the facilities
2. Management of Lifeguard and maintenance staff
3. Proper management of water chemistry
4. Communicate and have great customer service
