CNC Machine Operators-1st. Shift-Lynchburg, VA-24502-Responsibilities:- Operate and program CNC machine tools to produce high-quality metal or plastic parts- Set up machines and ensure they are properly calibrated for optimal performance- Write and test programs to control the machining process- Make necessary adjustments to machines and programs to ensure accurate and precise production- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure their longevity and efficiency- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environmentQualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist- Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
