The Structural Engineer will perform the following duties but not limited to:Lead the preparation of deliverables such as presentation materials, calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and cost estimates related to structural systems for commercial and governmental facilitiesDeliver complete, accurate, and coordinated project design assignments within time and budget parameters while satisfying client contractual obligationsPerform field investigation for incorporation of existing conditions into construction documents and provide conditions assessments on existing buildings.Perform construction administration duties, such as shop drawing review, RFI responses, construction inspections, and responding to client requests.Work independently and make technical decisions based on building code interpretation as well as company, client, and industry standard practices.Assist department in developing standards and maintaining current code and practice knowledge.Perform quality assurance/quality control checking of structural design documents developed by fellow engineers and perform interdisciplinary reviews.Mentor less experienced structural engineers and support career growth.
