Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are in search of a diligent Accounts Payable Clerk to be a part of our team in Roanoke, Texas. This role involves a broad range of responsibilities within the accounting industry, particularly in the area of accounts payable. The selected individual will be tasked with performing data entry of vendor invoices, maintaining organized vendor files, and managing vendor communications. Responsibilities: Perform a 2-way matching process to ensure Approved Purchase Orders match vendor invoices received. Collaborate with the Purchasing Department to resolve Purchase Order/Work Order discrepancies on invoices received. Perform data entry of vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Obtain necessary approvals for invoices. Maintain an organized system for vendor files, with a future focus on digitization. Monitor and process incoming vendor invoices through the Accounts Payable email inbox and mailbox. Manage vendor communications via phone or email in relation to payment status, invoicing discrepancies, or other issues. Maintain an organized process for utilities. Provide account coding for corporate overhead and other standard/monthly invoices received.
