Coin Operated Laundry service in Roanoke is seeking an Assistant Manager. This position has a flexible schedule for the right individual. Candidate must be able to provide best-in-class customer service. Must be able to open and close on assigned days. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Manager to complete policy procedures, minor troubleshooting, and make deposits when needed. This position is good for someone with retail management experience or retired military.
Customer Care - Serve customers with machine operation, refund requests, general questions, etc.
Employees/Cleaning - interview, train, supervise, and schedule cleaners. Cover shifts and clean when
needed.
Maintenance - Supervise and coordinate contractors. Schedule service calls with technicians and learn
basic repairs, like clearing coin jams.
Inventory - Purchase vending and cleaning supplies.
Emergencies - respond to safety issues, criminal activity, out-of-order change machines, and any event
that renders the store partly or entirely inoperable.
Communicate with the Bookkeeper - categorize expenses, and provide payroll information.
