NEMT Driver

ICARE CAB is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver to join our team. As a NEMT Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for individuals requiring non-emergency medical attention. Job Requirements: - Minimum of one years of experience as a NEMT Driver or in a similar role - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (maximum of +2 points) - Ability to pass drug tests and background checks - Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and routes - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Compassionate and patient demeanor when dealing with patients - Ability to handle medical equipment safely and securely - Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends Responsibilities: - Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities - Ensure the comfort and well-being of patients during transportation - Assist patients with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed - Maintain accurate records of patient pick-ups, drop-offs, and mileage - Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of both patients and drivers - Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times - Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and dispatchers - Adhere to all company policies and guidelines We offer competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, and a supportive work environment.
