Position: Full-Time Gunsmith
Salary: Percentage of hourly service fees
Goochland Gun Works is seeking a seasoned gunsmith with experience to join our growing team. If you have a passion for firearms, a keen eye for detail, and take pride in your craftsmanship, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of the nature of the work done on customers' firearms.
Inspect customers' guns to identify and diagnose mechanical problems.
Design and construct firearms according to customer specifications.
Repair damaged gun components and fix malfunctions.
Attach optical sights, pistol grips, and recoil pads to various guns.
Requirements:
Ability to meet a two-week lead time for projects.
Must have your own set of professional tools (some tools supplied by the shop)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
