PatchMaster is looking to add a full-time multi-skilled drywall repair technician to support our Richmond Area team. We are a growing national company looking for motivated individuals to join our team of drywall repair specialists. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, articulate, outgoing, personable and presentable, and can follow a specific process to perform quality drywall repairs.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The technician is expected to perform drywall repair, drywall instillation, or general home repair. This may include drywall and plaster repair/installation, painting, insulation replacement, and trim repair/replacement.
Responsibilities include:
Provide excellent customer experience:
o Show up on time
o Perform Excellent work
o Clean up thoroughly after the job is complete
Ensuring all equipment and materials are used safely and effectively
Perform drywall repairs, match textures, smooth and remove textures, install insulation, install floorboards/trim, and paint repairs/walls
Manage and maintain all the required equipment for the job
Report any job-related issues to supervisor
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
5+ years proven experience in hanging, installing, patching, repairing, and finishing drywall including texture matching. With references.
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to communicate effectively with the customer
Desire to learn and improve
Willingness to learn and apply the PatchMaster Way
Smartphone with a data plan (company will pay a stipend for data usage)
Reliable transportation and a clean driving record (company vehicle will be provided after completion of probationary period)
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Ability to pass a drug screening.
Valid driver’s license
Clean driving record
Ability to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for long periods of time, lift, and hold excess of 62 lbs.
Ability to perform work in hot, cold, humid, and wet conditions depending on the location.
Ability to perform work from heights, using ladders and scaffolds.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Candidates are required to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug test.
Pay Rate based on experience and qualifications. Pay is by project, calculated using the appropriate pay rate and expected hours to perform the job. Performance bonuses in addition to base pay are possible after successful completion of training period.
