A public sector client of ours is looking for Project Manager. This is going to be a long term opportunity based out of Richmond, VA.
Required Skills:8 years of experience- Demonstrated experience in organizing, planning, and managing information technology projects ranging in size/scope from low risk/complexity to high
- Demonstrated experience in project planning, establishment of critical plans, identification of risks/issues, defect tracking, and status reporting
- Knowledge and experience in the associated disciplines of business analysis, software development, quality control, configuration management
- Knowledge and experience in the associated disciplines of technical support, training, and production operations
- Knowledge of business process engineering methods
- Demonstrated skills in meeting facilitation with customers and technical teams
- Demonstrated skills in documenting and understanding customer requirements, processes, and design and programming specifications
- Demonstrated skills in utilizing Waterfall SDLC model
- Demonstrated skills in reading logical data models, databases and programming specifications developed from customer requirements
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow-through
- Must be able to operate effectively in a changing environment with multiple priorities
- PMP Certification or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
