A steel craft manufacturing company in the Hopewell area is looking for a skilled IT technician with strong expertise in network troubleshooting, hardware and software support to join our team. . As an IT Technician, your responsibilities includes:
Duties and responsibilities:
- Basic hardware knowledge including printers.
- Install and configure computer software, hardware, networks, and peripheral equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues quickly and efficiently.
- Provide steps to help internal and external users resolve technical problems.
- Analyze records and logs to spot underlying trends and potential issues.
- Support the implementation of new solutions or applications
- Create accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems
- Provide insight into technical requirements
- Repair and replace equipment as necessary
Education and skills:
Experience working with different operating systems, hardware, or network systems.
Experience with a variety of software, hardware, and applications.
Excellent customer service skills in solving technical issues.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to work fast under pressure.
Ability to prioritize work.
Strong analytical skills.
Good attention to detail.
The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. This is a full-time position and is eligible for standard benefits.
