Job Listing: Medical Office Receptionist (Bilingual Spanish Required)

Job Type: Full-time, 36-40 hours per week
Pay: $15-$20/hour (based on experience)
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Medical Office Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish, have strong people skills, be detail-oriented, and comfortable interpreting for Spanish-speaking clients. Responsibilities:
-Greet patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor as they arrive at the office.
-Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries.
-Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes.
-Verify patient information and update records in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
-Collect payments at the time of service and ensure accurate processing of all transactions.
-Comfortably interpret for Spanish-speaking patients during check-in, appointment scheduling, and other office interactions.
-Assist with unpacking medical supplies and ensuring adequate stock levels.
-Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed to restock or organize supplies in storage areas.
-Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
-Perform general office duties, including filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
-Assist medical staff with patient flow and ensure smooth scheduling.
-Ensure that medical supplies are properly stored, labeled, and easy to access.
Requirements:
-Bilingual in Spanish (fluent in speaking, reading, and writing).
-Comfortable interpreting for Spanish-speaking patients in various office interactions.
-Excellent communication and people skills.
-Strong computer skills (experience with EHR systems preferred but not required).
-Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
-Comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks related to supply management.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Professional appearance and demeanor.
-Prior experience in a medical or customer service setting is a plus.
Hours:
Monday: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
Tuesday: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
Thursday: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
Friday: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
First Sunday of the Month: 8:45 AM – 1:15 PM
