Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to serve as both a personal driver and personal security for a private individual in Henrico County, VA. This dual role requires someone who is trustworthy, reliable, and can ensure the safety and security of the principal both on and off the road.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safely drive the principal to various locations as instructed, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
2. Maintain the vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition, scheduling regular check-ups and repairs as necessary.
3. Stay alert to potential security threats, acting proactively to ensure the principal’s safety at all times.
4. Accompany the principal during outings, appointments, and other activities, providing protection as needed.
5. Stay up to date with local traffic and road conditions, identifying the best routes.
6. Respond to emergencies quickly and efficiently, ensuring the safety of the principal.
7. Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding the principal’s whereabouts and activities.
Requirements:
1. A clean criminal record.
2. Possess a valid driver’s license with 5+ years of driving experience.
3. Excellent driving record with a demonstrated history of safe driving.
4. Must be in good physical shape, capable of handling security responsibilities.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Ability to work flexible hours within the stated schedule.
7. Knowledge of the Henrico County area and surrounding regions is a plus.
8. Prior experience in a security role or related field is an advantage.
