Compensation: Salary Based on Experience, 401k, Health Plan

Employment type: full-time We WANT to work with you if:

1. You are comfortable answering the phone with a smile, even on a crummy day.

2. You are confident in the fact that law firms help people, and you would be willing to excitedly tell other people that you work at a workers compensation law firm (and a great one at that).

3. You like having systems for how things are done, AND you can competently and comfortably make decisions within that system. You can make proactive choices based on the information you already know.

4. When you go to work, you check your ego and your drama at the door. Work can be a fun place, but it's called work, so you go there to work. You also like people who appreciate this kind of work ethic.

5. You are a LEARNER. You want to learn new things, take on new challenges, and grow within your role. New responsibilities and new information excite you (even if it is a little daunting at first). You are willing to ask for help if you need it, even if it means owning up to something that you did wrong.

6. You like working with a smart, high-energy attorney who handles 120 plus cases with you and a legal assistant. Never a dull moment, every case is different and has multiple moving parts to make it interesting as well as exciting

We DO NOT want to work with you if:

1.You fear accepting responsibility for your work.

2.You hate the idea of having fun AFTER working hard.

3. You can't show up on time.

4. You think that you deserve a paycheck just by showing up.

You would be on the phone talking to a client one minute and then handling sending out extremely urgent demand packages to insurance companies the next but wait. . . You were interrupted while sending out a package with another phone call! This time it's a current client who is frustrated that his case isn't moving faster! Can you think quickly, keep your cool, and be capable of finishing up your task after talking with someone who is mistakenly directing his or her frustrations at you (instead of the insurance company which is dragging its feet)?

Yes? Then we really want to talk with you! Here's some good news for you. . .

We are fair. If you get your work done (on time), we will get along great and believe it or not, there is even some fun to be had at our office.

You won't just be an anonymous employee. We are a small firm, so everyone is a noted contributor to our success. You will have an actual impact on the business (because a law practice is still a business after all).

We aren't yellers. No one is running around red in the face screaming at people. That's just not how we do things.

You'll have your own desk, and we'll make sure that you have what need at that desk to be successful (technology and other supplies).

Everyone likes that we have soda, coffee, and tons of snacks available to everyone who works here, so I guess it's worth mentioning. We also love to decorate for the Holidays!

We play as a team.

We believe in treating you well. We want you to be able to go home on time. We aren't going to call you into the office on a weekend. We are fair in our vacation policy, and we do our best to be understanding about what can normally happen in a person's life. We want things to run smoothly and efficiently at our firm, so we'll put resources into helping you be able to do your job better.

The basic requirements are:

Law Firm Experience/knowledge in Workers Compensation law with -Strong organizational skills.

-Capable of working quickly and efficiently.

-Ability to follow directions.

-Productively works under little supervision.

-Superb customer service experience, on phone and in person.

Plus,

1. You need to be able to write well in English with proper grammar. 2. You need to be able to meet deadlines.

3. You need to be able to multi-task

5. You need to have a system for yourself to prioritize tasks.

In order to submit your application for this position, here is what you need to do.
