Do you want to share your experiences with tobacco and help make future research
better?
We are looking for Black/African American adults who smoke or used to smoke cigarettes.
We want to hear your story because Black communities face more health problems from
tobacco than other groups.
What will you do?
You will join us for up to 5 meetings over 7 weeks. Each meeting will be 2 hours long:
Step 1: Two learning sessions where we will talk about tobacco and how it affects
Black communities
Step 2: Small group talks where you will share your experiences with tobacco
Step 3: Two more sessions where we will share what we learned and get your
feedback
Why does this matter?
We need to reduce the burden of tobacco in Black/African American communities. Your
voice will help us:
Fight back against unfair tobacco company practices
Create better research that respects Black communities
Save lives
What's in it for you?
You will be compensated for your time
Make positive changes for other community members, friends and loved ones
Your story will make a difference
