Part-time floral design assistant, roughly 10-16 hrs per week.
In-home wedding floral business seeks part-time assistant for 2025 wedding season (April - October), can extend into 2026 season if desired. Willing to train, though some knowledge of flower types and design is desired.
Responsibilities
1. Assists in processing flowers upon shipment receipt.
2. Assists in preparing for floral designs.
3. Assists in event day set ups (Saturdays, mostly, from 10am-3pm).
Qualifications
1. Friendly, outgoing personality.
2. Ability to work well with others.
3. Ability to lift 15 lbs.
4. Ability to read and understand information and direction.
5. Effective communication.
6. Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
Work days would be Thursday (5 hrs), Friday (5 hrs), and Saturday (5 hrs).
Pay is $20.00/hr, paid weekly as a 1099 Contractor (no taxed withheld, employee is responsible for all tax related responsibilities).
