IT Business Analyst Position Description We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our team. The selected candidate will work a hybrid schedule consisting of two (2) days each week onsite in Richmond, VA and three (3) days remotely. ABOUT THE ROLE The Data Exchange Program will fulfill one of the top priorities of the Commonwealth's behavioral health strategic plan, which is to deliver transactional and secure statewide data exchange for behavioral health data. This position will be the business analyst for multiple component projects of the program. This position will coordinate extensively with DBHDS and partner stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and collect and analyze data to be exchanged between DBHDS and partners. Experience with data management projects is highly desirable. Some travel within VA may be required, most of which will be a single day (not overnight). Required Skills:
- 8 years experience gathering business requirements from stakeholders
- 8 years experience gathering, compiling, evaluating, and interpreting complex information
- 8 years experience capturing key elements during meetings and brainstorming sessions, generate group member direction, and lead group to define and achieve goals
- 8 years experience presenting work results and recommendations in a written report or a verbal presentation
- 8 years experience demonstrating expert level skill in MS Excel, Vision, and PowerPoint
- 2 years experience gathering and analyzing requirements related to data management, reports, and analytics
- 1 years experience with health information systems
