VFS is seeking a Clinician (Licensed/Licensed Eligible) who has experience supervising clinical staff and applying clinical skillset. Clinicians are able to manage CSAC and CSAC-S staff with competency in various supervision techniques. Demonstrate skill set in assessment and counseling (risk, suicidal, crisis intervention & diagnostic) with the ability to apply concepts, theory, and foundations for practice.
The Clinical Supervisor provides oversight in the Addiction Recovery Treatment Services Department. Works with the Assistant Clinical Supervisor in maintaining services for Individuals by working with the Group Facilitators. Ensures continued stays are submitted as necessary while ensuring the Group Facilitators are performing groups and coordinating care. Chart maintenance is a collaborative effort among staff to ensure compliance. Facilitates weekly meetings with the Department to ensure communication for the upcoming week.
Experience in supervision, substance use, therapy, and co-occurring disorders is required. Scheduled hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
Licensure requirements:
Must be licensed in Virginia as either:
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) (Preferred) or a License Eligible Resident or Supervisee
Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience
Minimum of four (4) years of clinical experience with adults, children, and adolescents
Clinicians must have experience in substance use and mental health treatment and diagnosis.
