Markel Veterinary Hospital or the crew at Smoky's Spay & Neuter Clinic offering HGHVSN services to municipal shelters and non-profit rescues along with free Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return services to free roaming community cats.

You will have access to the low-cost, full-service Susan M. Markel Veterinary Hospital of the Richmond SPCA for your own pets
Daytime 4 day schedule! You will work four 10-hour shifts a week. Enjoy 3 days off every week!
A day in the life:
Perform spay/neuter surgeries, dentals, and other routine surgeries
Deliver wellness care and annual physical examinations
Perform and interpret routine diagnostic tests, including radiography
Deliver care for sick or injured hospital patients as needed
Develop ongoing treatment plans for acutely and chronically ill patients
Communicate clearly and demonstrate the ability to educate a varied client base
Examine and treat shelter animals as needed
Other job-related duties as assigned
Attend and participate in all required trainings and meetings
