Our business has increased rapidly and we need food runners and hosts to help us offer the best guest experience possible. It's also equally important to us that we offer a high-quality employment experience.
Your part:
Host responsibilities: answer phone, interact with guests when entering or exiting the venue, manage reservations in OpenTable, help clear tables when needed, keep host area clean and organized, interact with togo food and togo customers, etc
Runner responsibilities: take food from kitchen to tables, take beverages from bar to tables, bus tables, take trash to dumpsters, keep park area clean and organized, restock bar with clean drink-ware, etc
Our part:
We offer competitive pay for hosts and runners - ranging from $18-$23 per hour based some on previous work experience but mostly on current performance. If you come in and hustle, you'll get pay increases quickly. We have clear performance based metrics that provide a roadmap for how to achieve and maintain a higher pay rate. We also offer access to our company health benefit for full-time employees and pay 50% of the employee premium. Full-time employees of all positions also begin accruing PTO immediately. We also offer family twice a day for all of our employees (on or off the clock) and have some other fun ancillary benefits like gym membership discounts, concert tix, baseball game tix, etc.
An ideal scenario is that we find 2-3 quality employees from posting this advertisement and that each of those new hires is able to train tonight, tomorrow, and possibly on Sunday. The pay rate for this weekend is $19 per hour. Anyone that shows up this weekend has a strong possibility for longterm employment, either full time or part time.
Long term pay rate depends on experience and position. The pay floor would be $17 per hour and the pay ceiling would be $23 per hour. If you have restaurant experience, you'll make more and if you show up this weekend and hustle, it will positively affect your long term pay rate.
