Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food service.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional food service to guests.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
Skills:
Proven experience as a cook or dietary aide in a professional kitchen setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the food service industry.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and dietary requirements as needed.
Shift:
Night Shifts
The ideal candidate for this job is looking for this to supplement a day job. Shifts will always be in the evening, but only during nights we have scheduled events. This is a part time job. We can offer more hours if you are able to join our security staff. A typical shift would run 4:30pm-midnight. Occasionally later nights are required on a per show basis.
