Title: Scientist Responsibilities:

Perform varied aspects, or a specialized aspects, of scientific disciplines such as separation sciences, organic chemistry, spectroscopy.

Conducts testing of dietary supplements products.

With minimal supervision, executes all technical aspects of analytical chemistry including the development, validation and transfer of methods for the testing/characterization of products and raw materials using HPLC and GC.

Troubleshoots moderately difficult instrumentation issues and solving moderately complex analytical problems.

Recognizes atypical data including chromatography and intermediate results and performs investigation to determine root cause with minimal supervision from a senior scientist.

Qualifications:

PhD in Chemistry or related field of study.

Analytical method development experience with HPLC and GC.

Experience conducting research on pharmaceuticals, vitamins, and/or supplements strongly preferred.

Organic chemistry experience strongly preferred.

Experience with Agilent and Waters systems strongly preferred.

Ability to work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.

Strong communicator, influencer and ability to effectively use negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
