Description We are on the lookout for a Receptionist to join our team in the banking industry, located in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling various administrative tasks around the office and ensuring a smooth workflow. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing a warm welcome and assisting them with their needs. Efficiently manage and distribute incoming mail to appropriate office staff. Handle outgoing correspondence, ensuring letters are properly prepared and sent out daily. Perform routine administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and copying documents. Maintain organization of files and records to ensure easy access and retrieval. Assist with data entry tasks to ensure accurate customer records. Utilize Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word for various tasks and correspondence. Answer multi-line phone system, directing calls as necessary and taking messages. Schedule appointments and meetings as needed, coordinating schedules and ensuring efficient time management. Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Requirements Proficiency in answering multi-line phone system. Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality customer service. Ability to perform accurate data entry tasks. Competency in handling email correspondence with attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and staff. Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis. Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook for managing emails and schedules with attention to detail. Proficient in using Microsoft Word for document creation and editing. Proven ability in organizing files for easy retrieval and record keeping. Experience in scheduling appointments effectively and efficiently.
