Description We are in search of an Office Manager to join our team based in Richmond, Virginia. This role is vital to our operation, providing support in areas such as accounting, payroll, and administrative tasks. You will be expected to manage relationships with external vendors, assist in the preparation of financial statements, and oversee state charitable registration filings.Responsibilities: Oversee the implementation of daily accounting operations Ensure accurate and timely production of financial statements for various levels, including the Board of Directors and executive management Maintain proper and updated accounting records Handle financial transactions and invoice payments efficiently Prepare financial reports necessary for grant reporting Assist in the preparation of audited financial statements and tax returns Administer payroll duties in partnership with payroll company Manage the benefits administration process Provide administrative assistance to the Executive Director and staff, including scheduling meetings and setting up equipment for remote sessions Offer logistical support for onsite meetings and events Supervise relationships with external vendors and service personnel for facility upgrades and repairs Update and maintain office and board policies and procedures Respond to phone calls and general email inquiries. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required Must have experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential Should be proficient in Billing procedures Must have strong skills in Data Entry Experience in Invoice Processing is necessary Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Must have experience in using QuickBooks Knowledge of SAP is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
