- Working knowledge of Outside Plant fiber cable installation practices, both UG and ADSS.
- Working knowledge of GIS mapping.
- Working knowledge of telecommunication concepts associated with the design and installation of single mode fiber systems.
- Working knowledge of typical standards and practices used within telecommunication buildings and rooms.
- Some knowledge of DC power systems and DC plant batteries (-48VDC).
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Effective computer skills including AutoCad and Microsoft Office Products Visio, Power Point, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of or proficiency with Circuit Vision Fiber (CVfiber) is a plus.
- Ability to manage several small projects simultaneously
