In this position, you will play a key role in enhancing our risk processes for Enterprise consumption and experience tools and platforms across Capital One. The eData team is always thinking about game changing products and experiences to benefit the company, and as their risk partner- you are a central player in all the excitement.Specific responsibilities of the Risk Manager include and are not limited to:
Partner with the eData risk team in the development and execution of the Syndicat risk office vision and deliver on enterprise and team objectives.
Partner with the eData Risk team and the eData Product and Tech teams to deliver on the identification and development of risks, issues, and/or mitigation plans to ensure the business implements needed changes and addresses areas of exposure.
Develop and help to deliver senior level risk management reporting and communications
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and leaders across multiple organizations to achieve strategic objectives
Coordinate program-related activities and deliverables to ensure effective collaboration within the team and across stakeholder groups
Continuously look for ways to improve and innovate in our approach to risk management.
Establish and maintain relationships with Enterprise Services process owners, process managers, and vertical risk advisors

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 3 years of experience in process management or 3 years of experience in risk management
At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
5+ years of experience in process management or 5+ years of experience in risk management, specifically with data management at an enterprise level
5+ years of Project Management experience leading cross functional projects and programs, specifically in a Data Ecosystem
1+ years of experience in the financial services industry, including familiarity with regulatory practices
1+ years of experience in process development, documentation, and improvement experience
1+ year of experience in controls development, controls management, and reporting activities
Demonstrated ability to understand Industry Data Management or Data Risk/Security related certification including Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Risk & Information System Control (CRISC), or Certified Information Privacy Professional (any discipline) (CIPP)
Strong relationship building skills, customer focus and ability to collaborate across teams to deliver
Ability to communicate and influence clearly and to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills to effectively respond to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $163,300 - $186,400 for Manager, Cyber Risk & AnalysisCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
