Our government client is looking for an experienced
Mainframe Quality Analyst on a 12+ month renewable contract role in Richmond, VA.Position – Mainframe Quality AnalystRemote until offices safely re-open (January expected)ABOUT THE ROLESystem Integration Analyst/ Tester (SIT/UAT) / Strong UAT experience is required for this role.Medicaid experience - particularly working on a mainframe - is most important followed by UAT testing experience.This position is responsible for all System Integration Testing (SIT/UAT) for the MMIS and MES modules as well as the testing of configured Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) applications, and the conversion and integration of data from other systems in Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES Modules and COTS products). Significant experience in managing the defect triage calls with multiple vendors and tracking the defects to closure in a timely fashion.Extensive experience testing the quality of a product based on requirements and assurance that the system meets documented requirements. This position will be required to perform SIT/UAT Testing for projects encompassing any changes to the MMIS and other MES modules, and to ensure sufficient user acceptance testing is performed before accepting the software changes in production.Expected to have the ability to understand the requirements and design of the project and able to develop test cases, test data and verify the software changes and to problem solve issues that are escalated and serve as liaison between the developer and the user.Coordinate testing efforts with business teams to obtain user scenarios, organizing meetings and supporting UAT effortsThis staff will be required to work with the UAT team, coordinate the execution and monitor the schedule, track results and raise awareness when risks or problems arise.Responsible for communicating and reporting to a variety of stakeholders about the results and progress of all UAT Testing including Test Summary and Execution metricsEscalating and tracking UAT defects through the resolutionTrack and maintain historical UAT Testing informationAble to meet deadlines with a high level of integrity, professionalism, customer service and motivationExperience in writing queries with Teradata for data validationAbility to read and interpret COBOL languageMedicaid and Mainframes Testing experience is REQUIREDSignificant experience in managing UAT, defect triage calls and Co-ordination involving multiple systems/TeamsPerform all assigned duties as requested or assignedExperience with SQL queriesRequired/Desired Skills:3 years of Experience with Medicaid and Mainframes UAT Testing experience is REQUIRED (pls do not submit if your candidate does not have this exp) is Required5 years of Experience in UAT test scenario development is Required5 years of Experience in data preparation is Required5 years of Experience in test case execution is Required5 years of Experience in test result validation is Required5 years of Experience in defect tracking is Required5 years of Experience with metrics reporting is Required3 years of experience with Familiarity with claims processing software is Desired3 years of experience with Exposure to large scale systems is Desired About Vector:Vector Consulting, Inc., (Headquartered in Atlanta) is an IT Talent Acquisition Solutions firm committed to delivering results.
