Eaton's Electrical Sector Americas – Critical Power Solutions (CPS) division is currently seeking a Logistics Specialist. The role will provide leadership to develop, support and implement logistics programs to meet or exceed business objectives across CPS. This position can be based in Raleigh, NC, Santa Ana, CA, Richmond, VA, Moon Township, PA, Beachwood, OH, or can be fully remote within the US.The expected annual salary range for this role is $78,750 - $115,500 a year.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:

Provide leadership to develop, support and implement logistics programs to meet or exceed business objectives across CPS - Americas.

Implement programs and system improvements to improve efficiency, drive down overall logistics costs and improve customer service.

Develop and implement long term plans to optimize warehousing and logistic solutions by coordinating efforts within the Eaton supply chain organization and other key functional stakeholders such as service, operations / supply chain, customer service and finance.

Collaborate with Corporate and Regional Logistics teams to develop and deploy logistics projects and initiatives.

Monitor carrier performance

Oversee freight payment and freight claims processes

Govern logistics regulatory and hazardous materials requirements

Work with Supply Chain Managers to reduce premium freight as a % of sales

Be a subject matter expert (SME) for Logistics functional competencies and principles to help the division address key operating factors and achieve higher levels of performance.

All duties assigned by management and deemed pertinent to the continued success of Company and employee objectives and/or goals with respect to Logistics.

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

Associate's degree in related field OR 5 years logistics and transportation experience.

2 years minimum of transportation/supply chain/logistics concepts and strategies, including IT and EDI systems and solutions

Experience with software SAP

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.

No relocation is being offered for this role. This will be a hybrid (3x2 based in Raleigh, NC / Richmond, VA / Santa Ana, CA / Moon Township, PA / Beachwood, OH) OR Remote will be considered. All candidates considered for hybrid must reside within one of the locations listed. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area.

Preferred Qualifications:

3-5 years experience in Logistics and Transportation.

Understanding of EDI & ASN’s

Bachelor’s degree in related field.

SAP experience specifically related to logistics/transportation

Experience with software (ex., SAP, UPS, FedEx, Oracle, and other Eaton and Carrier systems) to process and/or obtain information to meet customer or carrier requirements.

Position Success Criteria:

Up to 25% travel

Analytical thinker with the ability to quickly understand, analyze.

Ability to recognize logistics/Transportation related issues and analyze root causes

Highly proficient in MS Excel and Word

Analytical ability to prepare use of spreadsheets

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with various teams

Experience with logistics network design

Strong organizational, communication and team leadership skills are essential to work cross functionally with multiple teams.
