Description Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager for an exciting opportunity with a transforming organization! The role involves managing accounts payable processes and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the financial operations of the company. The individual will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment, where their skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Account Reconciliation, and Microsoft Excel will be put to good use.Responsibilities: Oversee the daily management of the accounts payable department and staff to ensure accurate and timely payment processing. Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies, and address vendor inquiries regarding payment issues. Conduct regular audits of the Accounts Payable (AP) system to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Prepare and present detailed reports regarding the company's accounts payable status to senior management. Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance operational efficiency in the accounts payable process. Collaborate with other departments to streamline and improve account reconciliation procedures. Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis purposes. Train and guide staff members on accounts payable procedures and policies. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in order to implement updated best practices in accounts payable management. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management, related to financial management, budgeting, and cost control.Our client is sekRequirements Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Manager role or similar Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required Experience in Account Reconciliation is necessary Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred Knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures is a plus Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
