Description We are seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in the non-profit sector, located in Richmond, Virginia. This role will be the first point of contact in our small office environment, managing the front desk, handling administrative duties, and providing exceptional service to our visitors. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Managing the opening and closing procedures of the office daily Handling multi-line phone systems and directing calls appropriately Welcoming and assisting visitors, including case workers and employees Maintaining a sign in/out sheet at the front desk Sorting and distributing incoming mail effectively Preparing and sending out packages Accepting and managing deliveries Executing administrative duties, including filing and record-keeping Ensuring the front desk and reception area is always presentable and functional. Requirements Proven experience in an administrative office role, demonstrating knowledge of standard office practices and procedures Proficiency in answering a multi-line phone system, managing incoming calls and redirecting them as necessary Familiarity with receptionist duties including guest welcoming, appointment scheduling, and handling inquiries Experience in document filing and management, ensuring accurate record keeping in accordance with organizational procedures Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality Strong organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite A positive, service-oriented attitude and detail-oriented demeanor Willingness to contribute to the mission and values of our non-profit organization TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
