This position is onsite in Norfolk, VA.

We seek a Red Hat/Elastic Engineer to work on the architectural design and implementation of Elastic Stack, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with other teams to integrate Elastic Stack into existing infrastructure and applications. The requisite duties, knowledge, and experience are detailed below.

Designing, implementing, and managing Elasticsearch clusters for search and analytics purposes.

Configuring and optimizing Elasticsearch indices for performance and scalability.

Setting up Elastic to collect, parse, and enrich logs from various sources with Cribl's Stream for log management, security information and event management (SIEM), observability, and compliance.

Integrating Cribl with Elasticsearch to store and analyze log data effectively.

Creating custom visualizations and dashboards.

Using Kibana to provide insights into data stored in Elasticsearch.

Enhancing search functionality in applications by utilizing Elasticsearch features.

Fine-tuning search queries and filters to optimize search performance.

Developing scripts and automation tools to streamline administrative tasks.

Experience applying Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) on hardware and software.

Experience running network scans using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution) ACAS and Security Content Automation protocol (SCAP).

We take part in operation services for our clients with emphasis on automation and delivery excellence. Our core capabilities include: IT Operations Delivery & Management, Customer Experience Enhancement, Operations Transformation, transportation modernization, and Emerging Technology platforms such as drones and 5G networks.QualificationsRequirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of work experience in the information technology field

1+ years of proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on Elasticsearch, Red Hat Linux, and Cribl

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance

Must be able to work onsite in Norfolk, VA 2-3 days a week.
