The Distribution Associate for Leica Biosystems is responsible working in Shipping handling high volumes of product with a direct impact to inventory accuracy and ProductivityThis position is part of the Distribution Team located in Richmond, IL and will be Distribution Associate working Monday thru Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.You will be a part of the Distribution Team and report to the Distribution Supervisor responsible for Shipping. Pick, Pack, 5S duties

Use of RF scanner for picking product

Operate electrical pallet jacks and forklift

Handle high volume of product in a fast-paced environment

Operates under the FEFO (First Expires, First Out) and FIFO (First in, First Out)

The essential requirements of the job include:

Minimal requirement is a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Operating electrical pallet jacks and other various pieces of equipment (i.e. forklift, cherry picker forklift, MHE) as well as RF scanners.

Experience, or knowledge with, FEFO (First Expires, First Out) and FIFO (First in, First Out.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Working experience with Shipping modules, US/Canada ship processing or picking in Warehouse.
